Year 2 at Coquet Park 

Who are we?

Hello and welcome to Year 2.  We are situated in the blue area of the school and take great pride in being the oldest class in Key Stage 1.  We work hard to reach high levels of achievement in all areas of school life.  We enjoy learning and making new friends.  We always strive to try new activities, which develop our confidence and widen our horizons.  We are not afraid to make mistakes.

What do we do in class?

In Year 2 we follow a broad, creative curriculum which covers the key objectives in the National Curriculum.  We cover a wide range of topics including life and creation, celebrations and famous people.  We also work very hard to develop our independent skills and work on our own.

What about P.E. and library?

Our P.E. days are a Tuesday and Friday.  We also go swimming in the Autumn term at the leisure pool.  Our Library day is a Wednesday - Miss Copley or Mrs Shepherd will help us to change our library books.
